The Land transport Authority will increase their visibility along with police assistance to ensure Fijians are provided with the bus services required.
Chief Executive, Carmine Piantedosi says now with bus drivers operating according to the new e-ticketing system, it’s important to provide standard services.
“We’re out there and we’ve been out there every day and we’ve also asked for the support of police as well so we’re making ourselves very visible. The Primary objective is to make sure that people are getting the service they request and require from bus operators and see that drivers are operating with the new legislation.”
LTA also says they will be out to assist passengers and urge Fijians to call their helpline if they would like to raise their concerns or complaints.
