Fijians benefit from the FBC Tech Trade Show

The first FBC Tech Trade Show is underway and crowds are flocking to take advantage of the many deals on offer.

With students from universities visiting, children enjoying the rides and parents buying the latest gadgets, the event is a first for Fiji.

USP student, Kelisioa Iniakwala says the latest technology in renewable energy has really impressed him.

“A lot of technology is coming because of how people are concerned about the environment. On how people talk about climate change and to solve it. So right now people are focusing at preserving the environment but also excel their technology in this area.”

62-year-old Om Prakash from Narere says he has already bought several products and he’s already planning on coming back for more.

“Actually I don’t know much about technology but I have come across a lot of latest technology like security alarms and other things. I am willing to buy a few things and take it home as it will make my life easier. I am also planning to come back and buy a few more things.”

The four-day event is underway at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Open to the family, tickets for adults are $2 while entry for children is $1.
