Fijian soldiers in Golan Heights safe: RFMF Commander

Two hundred and ninety two Fijian soldiers serving in the Golan Heights are well and safe.

This was confirmed by the Fiji Military Forces Commander, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto, following reports that twenty rockets were fired by Iranian soldiers at the Israeli Military position in Golan Heights occupied by Fijian soldiers.

Rear Admiral Naupoto says the rocket landed far from where our soldiers are based.

He says during the bombardment the soldiers were forced to take refuge at the bomb shelter for a few hours.

No injuries or damage were reported.
