From the first of next month, tourists will get a totally new experience while entering or leaving the country.

On this day, Fijian Hosts, a new program by the Tourism Ministry kicks in.

Under the program, teams from FRCA, Police, Bio-security Authority of Fiji and other institutions that deal with arrivals and departures at international airports will be present to assist those visiting or leaving.

The teams will be deployed specifically for the needs of our visitors.

Tourism Permanent Secretary Elizabeth Powell says this is an initiative that will spread the Fiji brand even further, and even locals returning home can expect equal treatment as tourists.
