Defence Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola has wrapped up his week of meetings in Georgia with a bilateral conference today with the Georgia Minister of Defence, Levan Izoria.

Speaking to FBC News, Ratu Inoke says the conference was very fruitful.

Prior to the discussions, the Foreign Minister laid a wreath at the Tiblisi Heroes Square in memory of deceased heroes during the fall of Sokhumi on the 27th of September in 1993.

Leading the Fijian Delegation, Ratu Inoke also visited the National Defense Academy of Georgia.

Fiji signed an MOU earlier in the week on security and defense cooperation with Georgia continuing to strengthening Fiji’s relationship with the new ally.
