Fiji finished third at the International Pacific Rim Global Chefs competition held in Auckland, New Zealand.

Fijian chefs Abhinesh Sharma and Rohit Singh made their presence felt and sent out a message to the top chefs from around the world that they can compete with the best in the culinary industry.

The Pacific Rim competition serves as a qualification round for entry into the 5th WorldChefs Global Chef Challenge.

Fiji Chefs Team competed in three different categories against Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu and Guam.

Australia took top honors in all three categories.
