Fiji TV restructures

Hot on the heels of the announcement of Geoffrey Smith as the new CEO of Fiji TV, parent company Fijian Holdings has also appointed three new General Managers.

Fiji TV CEO Geoffrey Smith says they’ve reduced the executive team from eleven to three.

‘What we’ve done now we’ve created three GM positions, GM Corporate which basically looks after finance, sales, we’ve created GM International, which is basically content, and they look after all the content aspects of what we do, news also falls under that previously news was separate, we felt that perhaps it made sense that news and local production to be centralized, and then we have GM Operations which looks after the revenue arms like Sky, PacTalk our radio communications division and outside broadcast unit’’.

Nitesh Chand has been appointed General Manager Corporate. Karen Lobendahn is General Manager International and Serai Roxburgh is General Manager Operations.
