Fiji wants to take its bilateral relationship with India to another level.

This was highlighted by Minister for Trade, Faiyaz Koya who says Fiji is looking up to India on a number of issues as they have one of the world’s largest economy and is also a leader in many sectors.

“I am confident that the true spirit of friendship and cooperation that provides the unbreakable bond between the two nations and its people, will be further strengthened in the years to come. And we especially welcome India’s stated intention to engage more closely with the Pacific nations and play a greater role in our region.”
