Fiji to receive 200 ambulances from China

Fiji is expected to receive two hundred ambulances from China later next week.

The ambulances arrived in the country on Monday.

The 200 specialised medical vehicles have being transported to the Police Special Response Unit in Nasinu and is now awaiting the official handover.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had revealed last year that China will assist Fiji with its shortage of specialized equipment that’s likely to include 200 ambulances and fire trucks.
