Fiji to expand its mission in UAE

Fiji plans to expand it’s mission in the United Arab Emirates.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama revealed this today while addressing Heads of Missions overseas at their 5th Consultation in Suva today.

He says this is part of government’s overall objective in maintaining our relations overseas.

Kamlesh Prakash, who is heading Fiji’s mission in Abu Dhabi was also present at the consultation today.

Meanwhile, Fiji’s High Commission in South Africa is being relocated to Ethiopia next year.

Former RFMF Commander Brigadier General Mosese Tikotoga will be Fiji’s representative to Ethiopia.

Tikoitoga has completed his orientation and is expected to start in the new posting in January, 2016.
