There are a lot of areas in trade that Fiji can capitalize on with Papua New Guinea.

Fiji’s High Commissioner to PNG Romanu Tikotikoca said a lot of interest from the business sector was expressed in the recent visit by PNG Prime Minister, Peter O’Neil to Fiji.

From Fiji close to 20 Fiji companies that are here at the moment t, I’ve yet to take stock of all of them but during my 4 months stay here, I’ve realised that we have 20 companies here but at the same time we try to take account of all of our people, where they’re operating at, because they are not only operating from Port Moresby.

With a number of PNG companies here in the country, Tikotikoca believes Fiji businesses are also doing well in PNG.
