Fiji to benefit from hosting WEC

Hosting the 15th Annual World Exchange Congress in May of 2020 will bring a lot of benefits to Fiji.

South Pacific Stock Exchange Chief Executive, Krishika Narayan, made this statement while speaking at the signing of an MOU with global events company, Terrapin Holdings Limited.

The MOU will see both organizations working together to bring the best out of Fiji while hosting the event.

“The SPSE sees many benefits of hosting an event of such magnitude in Fiji including but not limited to promoting Fiji’s capital market and building Fiji’s profile as tourist destination.”

Narayan says the congress will also be used as a way to market Fiji as one of the best tourist destination in the world.

The World Exchange Congress is a chief executive level strategy conference for global trading exchange executives.

The event will be held over two days in Fiji with speakers ranging from various developed as well as smaller developing Exchanges around the world.

Content that will be discussed during the conference will focus on; new technology, new customers, new revenue streams, Exchange evolution, regional collaboration and cyber security.
