Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has called on India’s support to support Fiji and the Pacific at this year’s climate change talks in Paris, France.

The Prime Minister highlighted this in a letter to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi as he congratulated the Prime Minister on India’s 69th Independence anniversary.

Bainimarama also highlighted that India being the world’s biggest democratic country with increasing influence in global affairs, Fiji looks to India for leadership on the greatest issue of this time.
