A warehouse will soon be constructed at the Fiji Rice Limited Mill facility in Dreketi.

Chair, Raj Sharma says the warehouse will enable rice farmers to store their paddy before it goes for production.

Construction will cost $275, 000 of which $100,000 will be given by the government.

Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the capital input by government will give farmers the confidence to continue farming.
