The success achieved by businesses and the government over the last few months despite certain adversities must be recognized.
Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum made the comments while speaking at the Westpac Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2016 in Nadi last night.
He says 2016 has been an extremely challenging year for Fiji, especially after TC Winston.
“It is very critical for government and the arms of government such as Investment Fiji to work closely with those in the private sector as Fiji continues to expand its export, trade and economy.”
Sayed-Khaiyum says that the Awards are to celebrate the achievement of a broad range of individuals and companies that are driving the force behind the Fijian economy.
Meanwhile, Rosie Holidays took out the Westpac Prime Minister’s International Business Award.
