Fiji continues to prioritize the issues of Climate Change.
Minister for Industry, Trade, and Tourism Faiyaz Koya led Fiji’s delegation with the Roving Ambassador to Pacific Island Countries His Excellency Ratu Tui Cavuilati and senior Government officials at the Forum Foreign Ministers Meeting held in Apia, Samoa.
The Forum Ministers Meeting was chaired by Samoa’s Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tuilaepa Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi.
Koya highlighted that such meetings enable members to set the priorities for engagement and interaction.
He emphasised on the need to sit together and “Talanoa” sharing collective approaches towards these issues.
The outcome of the Foreign Ministers meeting would be tabled for consideration at the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meeting in Nauru next month.
