Fiji should be proud of hosting the 20th Commonwealth Conference of Education Ministers and the Integrated Partnership Forum in Nadi according to the Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland.

Scotland says that Fiji’s “Bula” spirit was one of the main elements of the 5 days being successful.

“Fiji has been the most wonderful host, warm, welcoming and the real Bula spirit has been imbued into the conference.”

She adds that the main highlight for her was during the climate change event which saw students being champions of this important topic.

“Seeing the message come in from across the sea and having the 2 young Fijian telling us leaders that we want action, walk the talk and I will never forget what those two young ones were saying that they were climate change warriors.”

The Secretary General had also hailed the conference a huge success.
