“We are working closely with Fiji Ports here in Suva for the control of passengers entering into the jetty. From the jetty to the ship it is our responsibility and we are doing our best together with MSAF officials as soon as they board the ship.”

The public is urged to be aware of their safety requirements and for vessel operators to be vigilant about overcrowding and overloading on vessels.
