Fiji One to be dropped from Sky Pacific services

Digicel will drop 2 channels from its newly acquired pay TV business, Sky Pacific effective tomorrow.

Chief Executive Darren McLean has issued a notice for subcribers, saying in order to comply with the laws of Fiji, Digicel is required to remove all local which include Fiji One and the Pacific Channel.

McLean says while some customers may be disappointed about this, it’s out of their control.

He adds Digicel will introduce two new channels when its takes over operations of Sky Pacific from tomorrow.

These include TVWAN and TVWAN Sports.

The 2015 Rugby World Cup will be screened live on the Super Channel.
