New Zealand High Commissioner Jonathan Curr visited the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Blackrock Camp in Nadi.
The High Commissioner was accompanied by Defence Minister, Inia Seruiratu.
Curr says the briefing and the tour of the camp by Blackrock staff was impressive, adding that his government supports pre-deployment training at Blackrock for RFMF ahead of their peacekeeping deployments.
He also highlighted the strong collaborative efforts of Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia at Blackrock.

The visit to Blackrock has capped off an eventful week of defense cooperation between Fiji and New Zealand.
In addition, the High Commissioner revealed that the New Zealand government has a legal team assisting the RFMF lawyers with a review of Fiji’s military justice system.
The annual high-level bilateral defense talks ended with a seminar on contemporary peacekeeping operations.
