People need to rise above the personal agenda as Fiji needs both women and men in leadership.

Fiji Chamber of Commerce president, Dr Nur Bano Ali says people think women are the weaker group of the society.

Ali says with the current situations it is being indicated that there is a bright future for women.

“I think women will do a better job in parliament against these matters and issues the way it is being handled at the moment and I honestly believe that.”

Meanwhile, ten female candidates have made it to the parliament for next four years.
