Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says there are many opportunities for local and foreign investors to capitalize on the renewed optimism that has accompanied democracy.

Opening the new Manubhai industries factory in Ba yesterday- the latest manufacturing facility of one the great names of Fijian business Bainimarama says Fiji is currently in the throes of the longest running period of economic expansion in Fijian history.

He adds the nation has had 6 years of continuous economic growth and an expansion rate of four percent or more for the past 3 years.

It is easier today in Fiji to start a business, to build a business, and to do business with the region and the world than it has ever been in the past. And the Fiji First Government seeks a partnership with the private sector, workers, employees, and civil society to keep reforming the way we do things. To make us more efficient. To make us more competitive.

Bainimarama adds an entrepreneurial spirit should be fostered in the Fijian people.
