The Ministry’s acting permanent secretary Dr Meciusela Tuicakau says the meeting will be attended by 22 Pacific Island countries.

This year’s meeting will mark the 20th anniversary of the historic Yanuca Declaration of 1995 – which was attended by the Ministers of Health for the Pacific Island Countries.

The declaration promotes the concept of healthy islands.
