Fiji delegation pays respect at Bataclan theatre

Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola paid his respects on behalf of the government and Fiji at the Bataclan theatre in Paris, France.

Kubuabola says the Government and the people of Fiji mourn with the international community on the tragic loss of innocent lives arising from the events of 13 November in France.

The Minister also expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims’ families.

Kubuabola laid a wreath and observed a minute of silence at the Bataclan Theatre, where 90 people were killed and several others injured in a series of coordinated terrorist attacks across Paris.

The Minister was accompanied by Fisheries and Forests Minister Osea Naiqamu and Fiji’s Ambassador to Belgium, Deo Saran.
