This year’s Fiji Day celebration will be even bigger with celebrations to be conducted at Navua, Lautoka, Levuka and the main event at Labasa’s Subrail Park.

Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Defense and National Security Osea Cawaru says on Fiji 48th independence, the theme is ‘Progressing together- leaving no Fijian behind.’

Cawaru says such events transform more progressive and vibrant societies in Fiji.
The event will also witness a military parade culminating with a military tattoo as well.

The Fiji Day Celebration programme was launched today.
