The official Fiji Day celebration is currently underway at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park with Military officers leading a colorful parade.

President Major General Ret’d Jioji Konrote has already inspected the parade – a tradition during special occasions such as this.

A large crowd has gathered at Prince Charles Park to witness the celebrations of the 47th year of independence.

Konrote will be making an official speech in the next hour.
