The Fiji Cancer Society is urging Fijians suffering from cancer to seek assistance from the society.
President of Fiji Cancer Society Phillip Low says they have been providing assistance to all patients in the four divisions.
As of last year, the society has assisted more than nine hundred patients.
“The Fiji Cancer Society has a simple vision of our national community being free from cancer. This is the change we want to make and the Fiji Cancer Society uses this vision to inspire ourselves, our patients and clients, our partners, our survivors and our families.”
He says Fijians can get professional help from the advocacy group so that measures can be taken to address their needs.
He says the Fiji Cancer Society has branches in the different divisions and those needing help should contact them.
