Fiji beer to hit the Chinese market

December 1, 2016 5:46 pm

For the first time ever, local beers will enter the Chinese market when the first export by Byron Investment Limited leaves Fiji for China this month.

This expansion into the world’s largest market follows the signing of a contract between Paradise Beverages and Byron Investments Ltd.

Byron Investment Limited Director Fang Fang Jamnadas who has been working hard to secure the deal says she’s excited for the new venture.

“I want to introduce a product to China that’s not just beer. I want to introduce Fiji as a paradise island tourism destination together with this.”

Fang Fang says she has already placed her first order that will leave Fiji before the end of the month.

This export will see Fiji Gold, Fiji Bitter and Vonu beers entering all the major markets in China like Shanghai and Beijing.
