Fiji and Thailand progress relations on agriculture

The Government of Fiji and Thailand have progressed in areas of mutual interest and cooperation in the agriculture sector.

It’s one of the key outcomes emanating from the second session of the Joint Agriculture Working Group meeting which was recently held in Suva.

Agriculture Minister, Inia Seruiratu told delegates that most of what was discussed in the meeting was already in progress and is currently being actioned by the two countries.

Seruiratu says that this further strengthens ties between the two countries and that Fiji’s committed to seeing it into fruition.

The third Fiji-Thailand Joint Agriculture Working Group meeting will be held in Thailand in 2020.
