Fiji and Samoa to discuss bilateral Cooperation

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is meeting with his Samoan counterpart Tuilaepa Sailele this hour.

The discussions are expected to revolve around bilateral cooperation and efforts by both countries to tackle climate change among other pressing issues.

A press conference will be held after the closed door meeting to announce the outcome of the talks.

The Samoan Prime Minister is in Fiji on an official three day State visit.

He is expected to conclude his visit with a series of meetings tomorrow at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.

The Samoan Prime Minister is scheduled to leave Fiji on Wednesday bound for Australia.

The Fijian Prime Minister will host a welcome reception and dinner for Sailele tonight.
