The New Zealand government has given Fiji a $620,000 funding for the ‘Purchase and Implementation of Audit Management Software.’
The signing of the Grant Funding Arrangement was done this morning by the Permanent Secretary for Finance Filimoni Waqabaca and NZ High Commissioner to Fiji Mark Ramsden.
Through it’s NZ Aid Programme, NZ has agreed to provide the funding for the purchase, set-up, and maintenance of audit management software.
The software will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audits undertaken by the Ministry of Finance.
The funding support is for two years that will commence this year until 2017.
