The Australian Federal Police’s Assistant Commissioner Scott Lee paid a courtesy call to Fiji’s Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho at the Fiji Police Headquarters this week.

The visit was an opportunity to follow up on issues discussed at the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police meeting held in Nauru this year, which centered on the importance of collaboration and cooperation with regards to transnational crime in the Pacific region.

Director International Relations SSP Ulaiasi Ravula says the meeting was a fruitful one with various areas of possible police to police opportunities explored.
