Paramedics are responding to an undetermined medical issue involving passengers on a Fiji Airways flight at Los Angeles International Airport.

According to an LAX spokesperson, Fiji Airways flight 810 arrived at Gate 123-A about two hours ago.

CBS Los Angeles reports, at least a dozen passengers reported nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

One person has been transported for further treatment and a representative from U.S. Centers for Disease Control is at the scene.

Federal health authorities also evaluated passengers and determined they did not have anything contagious.

Fiji Airways is yet to issue a statement.
