A Fiji Airways flight bound for Christmas Island-Honolulu experienced a loss of pressurization due to an engine air-system fault this morning.

The Boeing 737-700, Flight FJ822 was carrying seventy-three passengers and six crew members on board.

Fiji Airways confirms the crew followed standard operating procedures and made a rapid descent to 10,000 feet, and updated Air Traffic control at the Honolulu airport.
