National airline Fiji Airways has appointed world renowned Chef Robert Oliver to take their cuisine experience to new heights.
The award winning Kiwi chef, author, and TV presenter will work with Fiji Airways to develop menus for customers to enjoy on-board and in the new lounge under construction at the Nadi International Airport.
Fiji Airways CEO Andre Viljoen says Oliver was brought on-board to enhance the airline’s cuisine offerings.
Oliver was born in New Zealand and was raised in Fiji and Samoa.
He says this influenced his style of cooking from an early age and looks forward to sharing some of his favorite dishes with travelers world-wide.
Chef Oliver-inspired menus will be available in-flight from mid-January 2018 including a number of signature dishes designed exclusively for Fiji Airways.
