Fiji Airways has announced profit before tax of $84.5 million.

This a significant increase when compared to $70.2 million profit in 2016.

Civil Aviation Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while announcing the results said while the results have been outstanding, the airline must continue to improve service delivery and performance.

All employees will get to share in the profits.

Each eligible staff stands to receive $4,000 – a 20% from last year.

Management will be paid no less than $9,000.
