Fiji Airports staff to receive bonus

Good news and an early Christmas gift for the 540 staff of Fiji Airports as the company today announced a bonus payout of $816,004.62.

While making the announcement, Acting Prime Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum congratulated the staff for their hard work.

Sayed-Khaiyum says for staff earning between $8,278 to $19,999 they will receive $1,000 each.

He says for staff that are earning $20,000 to $29,999 they will receive $1,500 each while staff earning over $30,000 they will receive 5% of their base salary as their bonus.

Meanwhile, Fiji Airports Executive Chair Faiz Khan says the company will make a profit of $93.7m before tax and depreciation for 2018 as compared to $85.9m for last year.
