Fiji Airports scoop top honors at PM’s Business Awards

Fiji Airports Limited scooped the prestigious Supreme Award during the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards last night.

The Supreme Award is presented to a company that has demonstrated commercial success and outlined benefits across multiple facets including job creation, innovation, service excellence, and social responsibility.

Chief Executive Faiz Khan says the win is a testimony of the hard work and dedication of the 550 staff of the Fiji Airports.

However, Khan stresses that it does not end here for the company.

“Its good to win things and get recognition but there are always things to do and currently we are in the implementation phase of the Nadi Airport Masterplan and that’s an overall over the next 15 years three billion dollars worth of investment that we have to undertake so there is a lot of work to be done and yes we rejoice but we cannot lose focus of the bigger picture.”

Telecom Fiji Ltd – Excellence in Service Award

Pacific Ocean Culture Pte Ltd – Primary Industry Business Excellence Award

Faiz Khan – Excellence in Business Leadership Award

Vodafone Fiji – Socially Responsible Business of the Year Award
