Fifty more women receive Fijian Crafted License

Fifty more women artisans have been added to the list of successful entrepreneurs.

These artisans who are part of the National Women’s Expo were awarded the Fijian Crafted license today for their determination to meet quality standards and excelling in their field of work.

Presenting the certificates Industry and Trade Minister, Faiyaz Koya says more jobs are created and economic growth is promoted when one purchases Fijian made products.

“Your purchase ensure that the money spent in Fiji stays in Fiji, reinvesting in the economy and the community .We must grow our economy and it is through the Fijian Made campaign that manufacturers and retailers –large and small are able to contribute to the economy.”

During the National Women’s Expo in 2015 – 43 Fijian Crafted Licenses were given while another 83 was given last year.
