The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption today filed an appeal with the High Court of Suva against the judgement of the Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili acquitting, Member of Parliament, Doctor Mahendra Reddy of one count of bribery and one count of undue influence.

The case was called before High Court Judge Justice Vinsent Perera.

Three weeks has been given to check on the court records, after which both parties will make written submissions.

FICAC has appealed on eight grounds.

The case has been adjourned to the 9th February.
