New Director of the Fiji Institute of Accountants Navin Raj is ready to get the ball rolling for the Institute this year.
The former principal of Jai Narayan College has only been in the position for two weeks and says he is already excited for what lies ahead for the FIA.
“As far as FIA is concerned I think I mentioned it to the Council members in my interview, they would like to take FIA to another standard to another level, so the symposiums we are having, the congress we are having, the technical workshops we are having and how we offer our service to the members, that all needs to be taken to another level for 2016.”
Raj says he is looking forward to working with all FIA members and the new challenges that lie ahead.
The FIA to date has 800 members, 290 are chartered accountants and 41 have CPP accreditation.
