“We have to work a lot more with government stakeholders, training institutions, educational institutions and create the understanding that there is an industry out there that has a huge need for people to come and work and we want them to be from here.”

Lockington says tourism has experienced continued growth and deepening ‎diversification to become one of the fastest growing economic sectors in the world.

Meanwhile, Fiji’s tourism industry is currently the largest foreign exchange earner.
