The Frank Hilton Organization together with the Health Ministry is conducting ear check up’s in Nakasi.

This is in light of World Hearing Day and the initiative aims to draw attention to the importance of early identification and intervention for hearing loss.

According to FHO – there are more hearing and ear problems in Fiji compared to other countries.

The organizations Audiology team is also present at the clinic carrying out screenings.

They plan to encourage behavior changes to prevent hearing loss and mitigate stigma.

The initiative will finish at 4pm today.
