The Fijian Elections Office is finalizing their preparations as they’re on standby mode to head to the polls once the writ is announced.

Supervisor of Elections – Mohammed Saneem is urging Fijians to ensure their details are updated and that come Election Day, they know where they need to be to cast their vote.

“We are also encouraging voters to make sure that they use the 1500 platform to see where they’re listed to be voting this time. We don’t want a situation where on election day, somebody finds out that they have not checked and they’re at a different polling place, so at this point in time, as voters it’s important for them to firstly have the voter card and two to make sure that the details on their voter cards are accurate.”
