Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

The Fijian Elections Office will start a consultative process with stakeholders, political parties and the media soon to improve the 2022 General Election.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says for the next four years the FEO will be looking at ways to enhance the people’s knowledge.

Saneem says the main aim is to better the election experience for Fijians.

“There are four more years and there will be more than the FEO is looking at doing. The overall intention is to make elections more efficient and to improve voter satisfaction after voting.”

Saneem says lessons have been learned from the 2018 General Election which they will be incorporating to further improve the 2022 Election.
