FEO to provide transport to voters

The Fijian Elections Office will provide transportation to assist more than 7400 voters who are expected to cast their votes tomorrow.

These Fijians will be voting in 22 venues which had to suspend voting on Wednesday because of heavy rains and flooding in their designated Polling Stations.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says buses, FEO vehicles and three tonne trucks will be among the vehicles used to transport the voters from 6am to 6pm tomorrow.

Polling Stations will be open in these areas from 7.30am until 6pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile counting and communication of the official results continues here at National Results Centre in Laucala Beach, Suva.
