The Fijian Elections Office has conducted the final logistics workshop for political parties where they were presented with the provisional pre-poll schedule.

The Multinational Observer Group members who were also present at the workshop, were given pre-poll route maps and other logistics information regarding ballot box packing, ballot paper printing and postal vote packaging.

Elections Supervisor, Mohammed Saneem says it’s necessary to give all packing information to political parties considering they have made their intentions known to observe the election from ballot paper production right down until the return of materials to sensitive storage after the election.

Saneem hopes the level of access the Elections Office is granting, Political Parties will understand the process and accept the results of the General Election.
