The Fijian Elections Office has managed to conclude data entry for roughly around 2000 polling stations.
Data from 201 polling stations is yet to be entered on the FEO App.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says they’ve uploaded all the data they have onto the FEO App, so voters are able to directly check for their polling stations.
Saneem also clarifies that in the app, the polling stations are grouped under a polling venue, so they’re entering data by stations.
“If a venue had six polling stations, if we’ve entered data for one polling station, the venue will be appearing. And you can continue to check that venue after we’ve entered data. So it doesn’t mean that we will enter data per polling station so unless all is done, it will appear. It will start appearing as soon as anyone is done and we will keep adding to it. So that’s just a clarification on how it works.”
Meanwhile, FBC News was at the Counting Centre earlier and it was evident that operations are about to come to an end.
