Individuals who have been shortlisted to be the polling station managers on Election Day or during pre-poll will be taking part in the training sessions organized by the Fijian Elections Office from today.

Elections Supervisor, Mohammed Saneem, reminded the participants that the one day training session is an essential component for preparing them to manage polling.

Saneem says the sessions will prepare individuals for all the tasks that they have to undertake and also to administer.

Over the past couple of months the FEO trainers have trained 10,000 plus applicants and assessed them for the positions.

So far 546 training sessions have been run.
