FENC Fiji holds walkathon to raise funds

December 7, 2016 11:28 pm

The Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji which assists 1,100 needy children will hold a walkathon this Saturday to raise funds.

FENC Fiji Founder, John Sami says they need around $300,000 to assist these children with school uniforms, sandals, bags and stationery.

“This year our people in Fiji particularly in these centers, Suva, Lautoka, Nasinu and Labasa, if they can come forward and support us that would be very much appreciated. I would also want to suggest that not everybody can come and take part in the walkathon but if they can give even one dollar, two dollar or five dollar to FENC Fiji as their contribution to support the work that we are doing that would make a huge difference to our ability to do what we are doing.”
